The Bacolod City Water District will relocate a discharge line from its Montebello Well to the subdivision's pipelines, and this will cause a water supply interruption from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, a Baciwa press release said.
Affected areas are Montebello Subdivision, Eroreco, Mountain View Subdivision, and Brgy. Mandalagan.
Residents of the affected areas are advised to store enough water to supply their needs throughout the interruption period.
Meanwhile, Baciwa said that the Local Water Utilities Administration has approved the implementation of its new bulk sales rate pegged at P24.85 per cubic meter.
The LWUA approval was basis that the consumer has no existing Baciwa water service connection and that the consumer is not within the service area of the water utility firm.
The approval was also based on the ground that the consumer will use the water mainly for domestic purposes, otherwise, the standard commercial rates will apply, the Baciwa press release said.*
