The Negros Occidental Football Association will simultaneously open on Aug. 15 the second edition of the Under-11 “The First Step” and Under-13 football leagues as part of its master plan for the next three seasons.

Unlike in the inaugural offering the U-11 league held early this year, Maor Rozen, NOFA consultant and UEFA football coach, said the second edition will allow the participating teams to include girls in their lineup.

Another innovation in the U-13 league will be the implementation of the offside law in certain area of the field.
