Class ’82 keeps No. 1
spot  in NOHS alumni bowlfest

Class ’82 continued to keep the top post of the ongoing Negros Occidental High School Inter-Class Alumni Bowling Tournament dubbed “President Mariano Tuvilla Cup” at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The Cesar Sumaylo led Class ’82 is now on top of the heap with9,032 pinfalls followed by Class ’68  piloted by Cero Cordova with 8,831.

Class ’72 was third with 8,793, while Class ’66 is fourth, from ninth overall with 8,773 after posting 1,433 pinfalls.

Class ’73 Globelines is fifth with 8,710.

Other scores: Class ’67,  8,655; Class ’85, 8,557; Class ’89, 8,553; Class ’71, 8,508; Class ‘59/56/54 Combined, 8,506; Class ’74, 8,428; Class ’65, 8,356; Class ’80, 8,294; Class ’58, 8,198;  Class ’70, 8,194, and Class ’67 Mavericks, 8,089.

Grace Zollinger of Class ’73 and Arnold of Class ’80 are the highest pinning record holders with 93 and 91 pinfalls each.

Class ’66 bet Ver Villar and Anne Dayot of Class ’82 in highest single with 161 and 133 apiece, while Cesar Sumaylo of Class ’82 and Ronella Cordero of Class ’89 in triple with 383 and 328.

The team’s highest single and triple record markers are Class ’89 and Class ’66 with 595 and 1,701 balls.

Meanwhile, Class ’85 is leading in the St. Joseph High School- La Salle Inter-Class Bowling Tournament at Lopue’s East Bowling Centre in Bacolod City.

Second and third are Class ’86 and Class ’79 with 7,720 and 7,633 pinfalls.

Class ’83 and Class ’78 are fourth and fifth placers with 7,582 and 7,570.

Class ’81 has 7,534; Class ’68, 7,482; Class ‘84B, 7,437; Class ’84-A, 7,386 and Class ’69, 7,287.
