April celebrators, concert

Members of High School Class ’57 of La Consolacion College celebrated the April birthdays of their classmates Jessie Solatorio Vasquez and Millet Lacson de Leon, at Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City.

Opening prayer was led by cousin Nening Arimas and a welcome address by class president Tess Yusay, followed by a delicious lunch.

During coffee and ice cream time, Lindy Yulo Osmeña acknowledged the guests, especially cousins of Jessie who came in full force. The celebrator was given a tribute, and a meaningful letter was read by Class ’57.

Community singing of “Always” by Class ’57 brought misty eyes to the whole class, especially the lines “We’ll be loving you, not for just an hour, not for just a day, not for just a year, but always …”.

Jessie V. thanked everybody for the effort, love, devotion and affection they showed, especially to Our Creator, God Almighty.

To Jessie V. good health and God bless you and Millet!
