Prices of ‘B’ sugar mixed

Prices of “B” or domestic sugar were mixed this week but with prices still above P1,000 per Lkg, data of the Sugar Master Plan Foundation show.

At the May 14 bidding, Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company disposed its stocks at P1,012.50 (high) and rejected lower offers; Victorias Milling Company, P1,025.19; Lopez Sugar Corp., P1,025;Sagay Central Inc., P1,025; and Central Azucarera de San Antonio in Passi City, P1,010.90 (high) and P1,000 (low).

Prices at the April 2 bidding: Passi I inched up to P1,048.48 this week from the previous week’s P1,046.08.
