Birthday cheers!

It was a memorable get-together when Malu Rojas-Gonzaga celebrated her birthday with family and close friends at her posh residence.

Music filled the air upon entrance at the Gonzaga Spanish-inspired home, while candle-lighted footwalks directed everyone to the basement of the four-story residence where the party was commencing.

The trees of the garden were all aglow with Capiz shell lanterns adding to the festive ambiance. Playing all-time favorite songs were musicians brought in as a surprise gift to the celebrator. Her daughters Sabrina, Bettina and Sophia likewise gave surprise gifts to their mom. Close to 100 from Negros finest families came. Everyone enjoyed a wide variety of main courses served at the long buffet table while the choices of pasta and salad at the salad bar were simply irresistible. Among the favorites were the turkey and calf, while wine overflowed that night. In the later part of the evening, all-time favorite dance music was played. To the celebrator, may you continually be blessed with a happy home, good health, and more businesses to come! Birthday cheers!

My sincere condolences to the Koelman family for the passing away of their beloved Portia Parcon-Koelman, wife of Kees and mother of Aliya Parcs. The Koelman couple spearheaded the noble project of Asenso Village in Isabela, where homeless Negrenses were given homes and were taught livelihood projects. She will truly be missed by those close to her heart.*
