The Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod, along with other sponsors, staged a two-day golf event at the Bacolod Golf and Country Club in Murcia, over the weekend, for the benefit of the “Pangarap ng Kabataan Scholarship Program.”

The event  bankrolled by Casino Filipino, Stronghold Insurance, Koppel Inc., Pacific Shores, Shangrila Mactan Resort and Spa and Tambuli Beach Resort, drew participation from local golfers in the province, a press release from the organizers said.

Major hole guarantors were the Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital, Jarma Residences and Salvacion Homes while regular hole support were given by the Firm Builders, Stella Friend, ML Electrical Supplies & Services, APEC Partylist Nominee Lambeto “Bert” Canlas, Sugarland Hotel, PDG Melito “Bimbo” Salazar, Mega Pharma Inc. and San Miguel Brewery.

Minor hole sponsors were Marfe Insurance, Technocom Internet Café, Ember Shell Service Station, CIN Internet, Coca-Cola Bottlers Phil. Inc., Step Mktg., Del Monte Food Service, United Coconut Planters Bank and Tri-Maxi Agro Commodities Corp, the press release said.*
