Negrense Friends of Noy and Mar will mark the birthday of Liberal Party standard bearer Noynoy Aquino on Monday by tying yellow ribbons around Bacolod City.

“Together, let us paint history yellow: On Feb 8, 2010, the birthday of Noynoy Aquino, and a day before the official campaign period for the 2010 elections start, we begin to take history in our hands and tie it with the yellow ribbon of courage and the courage  of our heroes,” a message sent out by the group  said yesterday.

At 5 p.m. on Monday a “yellow party” will be held at the The Heroes HQ at the Lopue's Annex Building in Mandalagan, Bacolod City, for a yellow party to celebrate Noynoy’s birthday where a Yellow Bazaar, a Yellow Food Fair, and a Yellow Bar will be held, the organizers said.

“Wear your courage: wear or hold or use anything yellow. Let's party all night. History awaits us the day after,” the invitation said.*
