Class ’82, ’73 bowlers
pace NOHS tourney

Class ’82 and Class ’73 held on to the 1-2 position in the premiere Class A category of the championship rounds of the Negros Occidental High School Inter-Class Alumni Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Leading in Class B Department is Class ’86.

The Class ’82 ballrollers anchored by Cesar Sumaylo are leading with 3,038 pinfalls, as Class ’73 headed by Jose “Butch” Villagracia garnered 3,009.

Edgar Baldonado’s anchored Class ’66 was third spot with  2,963.

Class ’71 has 2,911; Class ‘54/56/59 Combination has 2,880; Class ’67, 2,867; Class ’72, 2,831; Class ’89, 2,813; Class ’80, 2,805, and Class ’84, 2,777.

In bracket B, it was Class ’70 who placed second with 2,850 followed by Mavericks ’67 with 2,838.

Other scores: Class ’85, 2,833; Class ’58, 2,806;  Faculty, 2,773; Class ’74, 2,726; Class ’90, 2,722; Class 2001, 2,688, and Class ’92, 2,398.

Class ’82 registered the team’s highest triple with 1,616, while Class ‘666 in single with 559.

The individual record holders are Class ’66 regular Rod Garcia in highest pinning with 95 pinfalls,  Hernand Garciniego of Class ’73 in single with 154, while Class ’85 reliable Iran Pielago in triple with 377 in the men’s bracket.

Ronella Cordero’s records in the women’s  pinning and single with 91 and 135 apiece, as Ann Dayot of Class ’82 recorded the triple mark.
