With the catastrophes that have befallen those who had invested their hard-earned money into a building project, only to see it destroyed by flood or earthquake, the 2010 Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition has become more relevant than ever with its emphasis on sustainable architecture, a press release from organizers said.
WORLDBEX 2010’s theme is Constructing the Future Green Communities through Efficient Technologies and Materials –and the World Trade Center in Pasay will have comprehensive displays of the most premium local and international products and services in the construction industry.
Some 880 exhibit booths from over 20 countries will be on hand to showcase the best that the world has to offer without hurting the environment and creating safer homes for all, the press release said.
This annual world-renowned expo has become an indispensable source of information and technology over time, it added.
Now on its 15th year, WORLDBEX will showcase the latest building materials and technology from March 17 to 21, 2010 to aid architects, engineers and contractors in making better structures that will stand up to the elements.
There will be seminars for three days by experts, who will tackle a variety of topics.
From March 18 to 20 four different speakers will share their expertise.
Each seminar day is priced at Php2,000, the press release said.
“WORLDBEX has become the perfect place for a creative meeting of minds among the local and international shakers and movers in the industry” Joseph Ang, its founding chairman said in the press release.
Asia’s largest and most attended construction exposition has over the years provided the tools, materials and expertise to help countries produce beautiful, sustainable, eco-friendly and energy-saving architecture, the press release said.
Raffles will be held for expo attendees and visitors, with three winners drawn each day from seminar registrants from March 18-20 and three winning visitors drawn each day from March 17-21, it added.
