Gov’t agencies unite
for OFW progam

The Department of Labor and Employment has partnered with other government agencies in launching the Kabayanihan program, integrating various social protection services for overseas Filipino workers, the DOLE said in a press release.

The DOLE, Social Security System, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, aim to enhance the delivery of social and welfare services to OFWs and their families under a one card transaction system.

The agencies signed a memorandum of agreement to ensure the efficient delivery of the social protection services beneficial to the OFWs using a “bundling approach” membership and services, the press release said.
