Candles’ team leads bowlfest

Candles 13715 Charity is leading in the 22nd Knights of Columbus Inter-Council Bowling Tournament hosted by Triumph of the Holy Cross Council at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The group led by Eric Deloria tops the overall standing with 7,747 pinfalls.

Villamonte 5665 B led by Elmer Liboon and Nerio Regollo is second with 7,707 followed by Villamonte 5665 A led by Irne Diaz and anchored by Romulo “D’Gunner’Ramos with 7,702.

Rolly Alonzo’s Candles 13715 Fraternity trailed at 7,503.

Still in contention are Mother Council 3348 with 7,415; Grand Knight; Mansilingan Council, 7,187, and Holy Cross Camingawan Council, 7,084.

Ball rolling will resume Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Sharp Invitational Open Trio Bowling Championship resumes tonight at the same venue.

Silverado ASSFBI I of Cecil Ramon Silverio leads the premiere Class A category with 4,123, while Kami Mga Hubin of Robbie Elegado and Condura ASSFBI is leading in the non-rated and women’s brackets with 3,738 and 3,797, respectively.*HLG
