Celebrating Lina’s birthday
Last Friday was a red-letter day for Lina Manaloto Lim. It was also the anniversary of the Divine Mercy Shrine in Calumangan, Bago City, a vision of the late Mariano Lim. Above all, it was her natal day.
So, early in the morning, she and her staff went to hear mass officiated by Fr. Rolly Escubido, followed by the Way of the Cross, and a hearty breakfast for all parishioners.
With Gene Mapa and Taba Unson, we proceeded to St. Vincent’s Home for a Thanksgiving Mass for the celebrator officiated by Msgr. Gigi Gaston, with Frs. Jude, Arnold, Rolly, and Pons.
The celebrator then invited us to join her at the Social Hall for a mouth-watering lunch prepared by Bascon, and some home-cooked viands and the Manaloto siblings served first the lolas and the lolos.
Present were high school classmates of Lina Lim, business associates, the Casa Maria household, Zonta dancing group, and her cousins and nephews.
Welcoming the visitors were children Marlin, Marlon and Ray plus the two grandchildren, Nina Gino and Martin. To Lina, may you have more birthdays to celebrate and God bless you and your family.

Good news to the young ones and young once. Watch out, as on April 9, good-looking and lovely Kapamilya actors and actresses will be at Panaad Stadium to entertain everybody.
Remember: Let the morning sun recharge you with tireless energy to go through the day. Let God’s providence be a reminder that He prepared the best for you today.*
