Suppliers’ bowlfest

Davies II sprung 1,074 points to start its bid for the title in the opening round of the 10th Suppliers Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Championship at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Condura ASSFBI Ladies took an early lead in the women’s bracket.

The leading Davies of Edgar Jerez and Rommel Jover struck 324 balls in the first game and followed it up with 369 and 399 in the last two matches to lead the 20 teams in the men’s division.

NOCE Needz/ASSFBI of Edgar Allan del Rosario and Irne Diaz’ Sharp took the second and third spots with 1,061 and 1,052, apiece.

Silverado I/ASSFBI of Cecil Ramon Silverio was fourth with 1,044.

Mulo Car Aircon Services had 1,035; Kami Mga Hubin, 1,032; Silverado II, 1,021; Candles/Alimon Steel, 1,013; Easyweld/TNT Construction, 1,001; Sanyo, 997; Davies III, 988; Le Jessyl’s Hauz, 984; Kami Mha Hubin Too, 982; St. John Alumni Association, 971; Bago City Bowlers Association, 978; ESD Electronz II, 973; NPBC/RJ Stars, 952; Davies I, 934, and The Avenger, 876.

Condura leads in the distaff side with 949, tailed by RJ Stars NPBC with 931.

Other scores: Davies Fusion I, 925; Kami Mga Gwapa, 876; Panasonic/ON-BACIBA, 854; Tiger Eye II, 840; Davies Fusion II, 798, and Racahe, 756.

Davies recorded the team’s highest single and triple in the men’s bracket with 399 and 1,074, while Condura had the women’s highest single and triple with 340 and 949, apiece.
