5-Man bowlfest

LJP Trading/NPBC RJ Stars toppled 1,610 pinfalls to lead the 2nd NSL organized Five-Man Team Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

With three more games left, the NPBC squad headed by Gil Villagante, now tops the tally with 12,225 points, 69 over second place Eco-saver led by Reymund Lopez with 12,156.

The LJP team is composed of Villagante, Jam Morales, Steve Po, Hernand Garciniego, Cano Gaudite, Karl Barbosa and Buddy Ferrer.

Sister team RJ Stars NPBC of Rowena Juarez is third with12,040 balls followed by Caribbean Resort led by Paul Locsin Jr. with 11,902.

Four more teams in the 8-team pack are Dolar Surveying Office, 11,847; NOHS All Stars, 11,827; 69Ner’s, 11,827, and Knights of Columbus Bata Council, 10,688.

Dolar Surveying and NPBC registered the team’s highest single and triple with 574 and 1,616 apiece.        

Statches Magallanes of Dolar Team registered the individual highest record with 145.
