Capitol hotlines
up for Libya, Syria

The Negros Occidental provincial government has set up hotlines at the provincial Capitol in Bacolod City for Negrenses to call their relatives in strife torn Libya or Syria.

Benja Lucasan, head of the Public Affairs Division of the Capitol, yesterday said Gov. Alfredo Marañon has authorized the setting up the hotlines to help Negrenses worried about the status of their relatives in the two countries.

However, she said so far no one has come forward to avail of the hotlines.*CPG
