Kai Sei marks 12th year

Last Sunday, August 28, was the 12th anniversary of Kai Sei Resto. An early mass was officiated by Fr. Hunibert Tumbos, parish priest of Mountain View, in Bacolod City.

All the Ciocon siblings, headed by Ditas and Roseller Ciocon, president and chief executive officer of Lourdes C. Group of Companies, including the very young ones, like Baby Russ Ciocon Dilag, who is smiling all the time, and the staff of Kai Sei.

The blessing of every nook and corner of the resto, was followed by a hearty breakfast. For its anniversary, Kai Sei had an eat-all-you-can offering for lunch and dinner. When we arrived for lunch, the place was fully packed already and it was good that Manay Manaloto had a reservation for 12, like Tita Nena de Leon and family, and other patrons.

Everyone was asked to pick raffle tickets from a Japanese red box, and the lucky ones had a dish of Japanese food to take home. Back again for dinner, this time with Ninfa and Perla Leonardia, and, to our surprise, balikbayan Norma Bitanga Regidor from San Francisco, USA who had just arrived for her LCC Class ’51 homecoming on Sept. 3. This time, more patrons came to fill the place. We really had an enjoyable time and before we knew it, it was 9 p.m. and it was back to work for the STAR people.

Have you ever realized how generous God is? Look at the cross. It is a plus sign. He always wants to add blessing to your life.*
