Benitez holds
medical missions

More than 3,000 residents in the third district of Negros Occidental availed of free consultation and medicines in the twin medical mission held recently by Rep. Alfredo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District) with local government units, a press release from his office said.

The medical mission in Murcia benefited 1,448 residents with the services of 14 doctors and six dentists, the press release said.

In Talisay, 1,616 residents were served by a team of 35 doctors and dentists, with the assistance of the Canlaon Medical Society and the International College of Surgeons, it said.

The free medical and dental mission is supported by the North Central Negros Inter-local Health Zone, the Leisure Resorts World Corp., AB Leisure Exponent Inc., and the Betty Bantug Benitez Foundation.

Two more medical mission schedules are set this month as part of Benitez’s thanksgiving for the Yuletide Season and his birthday celebration on December 11 in Victorias City, and December 8 at E. B. Magalona, it added.*
