elevated to Pool A

The Frisbee Team Extreme Ultimate, with players from Dumaguete City, was promoted this year to the Pool A Division after the Philippine Ultimate Association said it could no longer be classified under the Pool B Division.

Extreme Ultimate is on its fourth year in the International Manila Spirits tournament, held November 26 and 27 at the Ayala Alabang Country Club, Anna Maria Christina Pasigna of Extreme Ultimate said.

During the 2011 Manila Spirits International Tournament, Frisbee Team EU made it to the TOP 8 in Pool A Division and ranked 6th in Pool A Division and played in the tournament participated in by 32 teams.

Team EU was awarded as The Most Spirited Team.

The Top 8 Ranking in the Pool A Division are Black Flag (champion for the third time, composed of Americans, Japanese, Singaporeans and Filipinos; Mixed Nuts (Team of actor Derek Ramsay, composed of Americans and Filipinos); Boracay Dragons (Team from Boracay, all Filipinos); Sunken Pleasure (Team from Manila, all Filipinos), tied at 3rd place; Hongkong Junk (Team from Hongkong, composed of Americans and Asians); Extreme Ultimate (Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Team, all Filipinos); Big Brother (Team from Beijing, China, composed of Americans and Chinese); and Flying Sprockets (Team from Manila, composed of Americans and Filipinos).

The EU players who participated are Jose Antonio Torres Pasigna, Adrian Roy Delfin, Theodore Lourenz Flores, Dyck Nouwen Cediño (team captain), Jundie Demosthenes Gradas, Earl Stanley Gasendo, Jeric Burtanog, Ralph Nino Nodado, David Libo-on III, Bea Bianca Belciña, Milena Maica Arrieta, Roselyn Gargar, Alexandra Anne Amos, Blessy Rae Narciso, and Jecho Marie Plaza.

New members of Frisbee Team EU are Krislene Dale Ladia, Joezen Taroma, Vic Bryan Desor, Nicky Awid and Irene Joy Uy.*JFP
