Negros Oriental State University president Dr. Henry Sojor will be one of the keynote speakers at a 5-day international conference in Accra City, Ghana, Africa, today.
Sojor was invited to share his experience in state university leadership and administration, and as professor of higher education, local governance, and community development.
Sojor’s speech will focus on “Leadership: Problems and Prospects; and Issues and Challenges of Africa’s Development” as viewed by an Asian educational leader.
The International Organization for Sustainable Development in Nigeria sponsored his trip. The organization fosters inter-cultural dialog and facilitates access to world class higher education especially in the developing nations of Africa and in the Pacific realm.
The IOSD aims to encourage a high level of cooperative reflection on the integration of ecological principles and traditional values in the economic planning and legal framework of developing economies.*
