VDS launching new
online guide

BY CARLO LEONARDIA

A new online guide has been launched and integrated into the website of the Visayan DAILY STAR.

The guide will contain information and announcements on events, promotions, parties, concerts in and around Negros. It will also contain a movie guide and inform users of happenings in the arts and culture scene such as art gallery and museum shows. Aside from that, the guide will also contain schedules of ferries, buses, and even Sunday masses.

The new section of the newspaper’s website, which is currently one of the biggest websites in Negros in terms of traffic, can be accessed by typing www.visayandailystar.com/eguide on the address bar of your favorite internet browser. www.visayandailystar.com currently gets almost 7,000 average daily visitors, with the top 8 countries in terms of visitors as follows: USA, Philippines, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Great Britain and Singapore.

The eguide will also have a section for online obituaries, congratulations, and classified ads for those who want to widen their reach to beyond the shores of Negros Island. The world wide web allows friends, family, or buyers from all over the world to be able to access this information.

For more information on how to be a part of the eguide, send an email to eguide@visayandailystar.com or call 434-5653.*
