ESD Hurricane/ASSFBI vaulted 1,053 pinfalls to keep its grasp of the No.1 post in the premiere division, as Candles/Alimon Steel and Davies Fusion I maintained their leadership in their respective categories in the Top’s Invitational Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Averaging 1,032 pinfalls per round, the ESD Hurricane of Edgar Allan Del Rosario is holding the top spot with a six-round output of 6,196, followed by Easyweld/NPBC with 6,039.

Occupying the third and fourth position are Amor Silverado of Cecil Silverio and Silverado I with 6,021, and 6,009.

Rounding out the 8-team cast are Sharp, 5,936; Davies, 5,891; NPBC RJ Stars, 5,888, and ESD Electronz with 5,776.

The competitors in the non-rated department with their scores are: K of C Candles, 5,799; Davies II, 5,700; Sharp II, 5,686; Manila Bulletin, 5,646; Mulo Car Aircon, 5,593; Silverado II, 5,515; Kami Mga Hubin, ,5497, and FRM Marketing, 5,450.

Davies Fusion I and Tiger Eye took the 1-2 position in the women’s category with 5,729 and 5,590 balls.

Other socres: Davies Fusion II, 5,555; Condura ASSFBI Ladies, 5,528; RJ Stars/NPBC, 5,415; Panasonic, 5,116; Kami Mga Gwapa, 5,108, and Racahe, 4,821.

Meanwhile, the Mayor Ramon Torres Cup Open Trio Bowling Championship unwraps today at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Registration will open at 5 p.m, while action starts at 6.

Cash prizes await the top three winners in the men and women’s divisions.

It will be a six-game series event where the top three teams will vie for the top purse in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion, tomorrow.*HLG
