Scavenger found  dead
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

The body of a man, believed to be a scavenger, was found clad only a yellow T-shirt and no underwear at the sidewalk of Narra Avenue-Lopez Jaena Street in Bacolod City yesterday.

The man, who remained “Mr. X” up to last night, was found by several minors looking for scrap materials near the area at about 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

Police Officer 2 Rey Escanan, one of the responding operatives, said the minors reported what they saw to workers at a nearby establishment, who sought police help.

Initial investigation conducted by Escanan and Police Officer 2 Jun Regalado showed no visible wounds on the body.

Workers at the nearby establishments and residents near the area where the body was found could not identify him, Escanan said.

The man is described to be at least 50 years old. The body was brought to the Alisbo Memorial chapels.*APN
