Training for bus drivers is not yet available in Region 6, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Western Visayas director Buen Mondejar, said in a government press release.
Mondejar said they expect such trainings to start when a team from Manila comes in February.
Currently, the regional TESDA does not yet have an Assessment Center for drivers. However, after the team comes, they might have one already, the press release said.
PVO turns over incubators
The Negros Occidental Provincial Veterinary Office yesterday turned over 12 chicken egg incubators to the Sagay Breeding Center and to the Provincial Livestock Breeding Center and Dairy Farm, La Granja, Lacarlota, Catheryn Narez, PVO poultry coordinator said.
The incubator will be used for hatching kabir eggs. Each unit has 500-egg capacity with 340 hatcheries. They also have automatic turners and thermostats with egg cuddler, Narez said.
Meanwhile, 400 kabir chicks, 30 upgraded does, and 40 piglets for swine fattening poultry animals were distributed in Moises Padilla recently for the Negros First Poultry and Livestock project.

Globe Telecom said it has expanded its international network by activating capacity on a cable system to serve the rising data demand of enterprises and large corporations.
In a statement, the Ayala-led telco said the Unity Cable System is a Trans-Pacific cable that runs a span of 9,620 kilometers between Japan and the United States.
Globe said Unity Cable has one of the lowest latencies across the Pacific and provides direct connections for internet traffic between Asia and the US.
