City brgys get more funds

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City approved additional supplemental budgets for more barangays in the city submitted by the Committees on Barangay Affairs, and Appropriation and Finance, during its regular session Wednesday at the Bacolod City Government Center.

A press release from City Hall said Association of Barangay Captains president Mona Dia Jardin disclosed that the budget approved for Brgy. 3 was P247,776.50; Brgy. 39 – P75,610.84; Brgy. 23 – P133,940.79; Brgy. 35 – P256,968.00; Brgy. 12 – P92,897.00; Brgy. 8 – P269,955.42; Brgy. 16 – P261,836.00; Vista Alegre – P1,007,133.65; Brgy. 5 – P364,494.19; Cabug – P208,336.00 and Mandalagan – P 1,288,036.18.

The SP had also approved the supplemental budgets of Barangays 37, 15, 4, 40, Mansilingan, Handumanan and Brgy. 34 during their June 22, 2011 session, presided over by Vice Mayor Thaddy Sayson, the release said.*
