BBC posts 2nd win
in LNA7-USLS tilt

Sammy Belangel scored 14 points as BBC streaked past Akasya Grill, 88-76, to claim its second victory in the LNA7-USLS Alumni Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the West Negros University gym.

BBC dominated the game and led in all four quarters as the trio of Belangel, Marco Avecilla, and Teruel kept the points coming for the squad.

Rozu Banzuela paced Akasya Grill Class 2005 with 12 points, while Miguel Villanueva delivered 10 points as the team absorbed its first loss in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Amazing Batch 2009 routed Glitter Productions, 72-59, to bounce back from its recent loss against Akasya Grill.

Mark Celestial had a game-high of 17 points but it was not enough to turn things around for Glitter as Fili Sayson and Tim Dumancas pooled their efforts to carry Amazing to victory.

Games are played starting 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.*
