Power outage slated

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative will conduct conversion of primary assemblies at Malaspina Street, at the back of West Negros University, Bacolod City, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and middle-span erection of a primary pole at Jesusa Heights Subdivision, Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. tomorrow, a CENECO press release said.  

The  activities will result to poorer outages, the press release said.

Affected member-consumers are advised to turn-off their electrical switches during the power interruption for safety reasons. 

When electricity supply resumes, they must provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge, the press release said.
