Class ’85 regain
top seat in bowlfest

NOHS Batch ‘85 reclaimed the lead in the ongoing Inter-School Triangular 5-Man Bowling Tournament 2011 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The batch anchored by Iran Peilago, regained the No.1 post with 1,525 pinfalls in the third day of action for a total 4,510.

The group took the curtain raiser, but NOHS Class ’73 of Felipe Boy Romero won in the second round.

NOHS ’73 went down to second with 4,474 with only 36 pins between the top two teams.

Rowena Juarez’ led DLNHS ’75 was third w ith 4,452.

BCHS ’74 spearheaded by Juliet Regollo and Norman Pineda stayed at fourth with 4,370.

NOHS Batch ’85 registered the team’s highest single with 566, as NOHS ’72 in triple with 1,551.

In the individual contest, Iran Pielago of NOHS ’85 posted the highest ingle record with 150, Cero Cordova of NOHS ’68 in triple with 368, and Glenn Solinap of NOHS ’82 in pinning with 95 in the men’s division.

Maila Balayo of BCHS ’89 established the highest single mark with 127, while teammate Elna Alimon in pinning with 92.
