after vehicular mishap

BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

An army official assigned in northern Negros Oriental who figured in a vehicular accident Thursday night in Guihulngan City is in critical condition at the Silliman University Medical Center.

The crash caused Army official as 1Lt. Angelito Castro Luna, 31, married, of Anda, Pangasinan to sustain severe damage in his head.

Luna is the civil military operations officer of the 11th Infantry Battalion based in McKinley, Guihulngan.

Col. Luis Manuel Ochotorena, 302nd brigade commander, said the accident happened when Luna was on his way to the battalion headquarters from La Libertad where he followed up documents for a scholarship program.

He was also complying with daily requirements for submission to the brigade, sending emails to different media outlets about the forthcoming Lakbay-Aral project of the battalion, Ochotorena said.*JG
