The Negros Oriental provincial government has earmarked P4.5 million for four road improvement projects in Dumaguete City, involving the concreting of those in four areas.
Data from the Provincial Engineer's Office provided by the Degamo Information Center showed that the biggest allotment of P2.5 million will go into the concreting of Colon Extension Road.
The concreting started in April 30, and is targeted to be completed on the second week of August.
Meanwhile, P1 million was allotted for the concreting project in Sto. Rosario, Brgy. Junob which is expected to be completed next month.
The other two concreting projects are in Claytown, Brgy. Daro with P678,000, and inside the park and playground in Upper Daro, with P300,000.*
