More agencies hiring
for overseas jobs

Four recruitment agencies will be at the Bacolod City Public Employment Service Office for more jobs abroad starting tomorrow until March 17, PESO manager Moises dela Cruz said yesterday.

YWA Agency is looking for skilled workers and will start screening qualified applicants tomorrow until Friday. Concept Placement Resources, Inc. and Pioneer Asia Manpower International, Inc. will also be at the PESO on Thursday and Friday and LEAD Resources Management Corporation will be at the Bacolod Government Center, MassKara Hall on March 15 to 17.

PAMI is hiring 150 domestic helpers for Hongkong and applicants must be 23-28 years old with experience as helper, while LEAD is in need of service crews, cooks, waiters and waitresses, receptionists, cooks, and shift supervisor, dela Cruz said.

PESO assured all applicants that the four agencies are licensed under the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration. It reminds them not to apply to any agency if they are not sure of its background to avoid illegal recruitment. They should, instead, verify it with POEA office at the second floor of the old city hall building, he added.

All interested applicants have to visit PESO for more information about the job and other job openings and must prepare 2x2 picture, résumé, employment and training certificates, passports, and other credentials.*LTG
