A corresponding hike in application was also noted posting an increase of 116.60 percent from a target of 1, 723, the office received a total of 2,009 applicants, the press release said.
Total office collection also increased by 10 percent from P2.6 million to more than P2.9 million brought about by the growth in capitalization and additional number of ‘Bigasan sa Barangay’ outlets, the press release said.
Intensified inspection and saturation drive also contributed to the increase in collection, the report showed.
Currently, the NFA now has 630 accredited outlets in the 19 cities and 13 municipalities of the province, the press release added.*
