DepEd sets P15M
for school repairs

The Department of Education has allocated P15 million for the repair of dilapidated school buildings in Negros Occidental.

To be repaired are 131 elementary and 19 high school buildings, Education Supervisor Severino Abelay said yesterday.

The repairs will not affect classes because they will be done in April during summer, he added.

He said the problem of the province is not so much shortages of classrooms as their main concern is their repair.*
