The sectoral groups are farmer’s organization, agricultural cooperative, non-government organization, landowner (principal crop), landowner (other crops), farmers/farm workers (principal crop), farmers/ farm workers (other crops), and cultural community group.

Their respective representatives are Pascual Victoriano, Mario Tapion, Joel Alapar, Wilfredo Alob, Marilou Villanueva, Luisito Gatunggay, Sr., Panfilo Trinidad, and Bienvenido Acse.

Gloria Cañonero of DAR Negros said the PARCCOM will conduct onsite inspection, consultations, and public hearings with the concerned sectors and provide information on the provisions of applicable and existing agrarian guidelines, laws, and issuances.

The creation of PARCCOM will help all sectoral groups in the policy formulation and inter-agency work programming of the Provincial Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Implementing Teams and facilitate the review for the convergence and integration purposes in support to CARP, she added.

Meanwhile, the selection for PARCCOM chairperson is still ongoing, as the position needs the appointment by the President of the Philippines upon the recommendation of the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council executive committee, Cañonero said.*LTG
