Honoring, blessing

Roseller Concha Ciocon, president of the Lourdes C. Group of Companies, recently received the Model Entrepreneur  Achievement Award from the  Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce Industry.

Helping Roseller Cioncon run their family business are his only sister, Delia Cicon Granada,  brother Teofisto Ciocon, Gina Ciocon, R.C.C. children Marides and JB Mapa, Maridel and Mondi Dilag, and only son R.C. Jr. who is taking up  law at Ateneo.

Mr. C. as he is  fondly called by everybody is well-loved by  his employees from their hotels  to restos. He believes in the saying – “The family that prays together, stays together.”

The opening and blessing of the 119 Firehouse Café at the 104 KYLT Building near La Salle, and beside the  N & M Pharmacy was held  Saturday. It was officiated by Msgr. Noli Que of the Our Lady of Peace Parish. Why the name? 119 is the call sign of owner, Alex Go, as fire volunteer together with his four sons as fire brigade enthusiasts.

Wife Grace Go,  a former bank employee helps  in their family business and only daughter, Cheryl Gretchen, manages their cakes and parties business.

Present  were officers and members of Fire Brigade of Bacolod City and families and friends of Alex and Grace.

Remember: Worry is a burden that God never meant for us to bear. God is always in control behind the scenes. A little spark of encouragement can ignite great endeavors.*
