| ‘Diarrhea cases in The Department of Health in Negros Oriental has reported a decline in the number of diarrhea cases in Valencia, Negros Oriental, but town residents are asked to continue boiling their water prior to drinking. Dr. Socrates Villamor, DOH-Negros Oriental chief, said that 199 diarrhea cases had been reported in Valencia after tropical storm Sendong brought floods to the province. Valencia, whose water supply was totally cut off after the storm, was reportedly the worst hit among the 10 areas in province of Negros Oriental by “Sendong”. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
