Workers needed
for M. East jobs

The Public Employment Service Office will host a job recruitment activity today until Friday for White Pearl Recruitment Inc. for skilled workers to work in Dubai, PESO manager Moises de la Cruz, said yesterday.

The skilled jobs open are for carpenters, electricians, masons, tile fitters, building painters, drivers, engineers, and construction workers.

De la Cruz said the four-day job recruitment activity will give Bacoleños enough time to prepare for their documents and work application and get hired on the spot if they meet the expectations of the employer.

“Job seekers should not let go of chances like these because recruitment agencies only visit places where they know they can get good pool of workers and Bacolod is on their list,” he said.

The initial interviews will start at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Applicants must bring their resume, transcript of records, employment and training certificates, passport (if any), 2x2 pictures, and other documents.

Meanwhile, representatives of Philamasia Labor Pool, Inc. will be in Bacolod on April 8 and 9 for their special recruitment activity. They need 150 customer service staff to work abroad.

Representatives of A&C International Resources, Inc. will also have their SRA on April 8 at PESO.

They need nurses who specialize in medical surgical, plastic surgery, pediatric intensive care unit, dental nurses, labor nurses, and general nurses, de la Cruz said.

They also need helpers, florists, cleaners, laundry supervisors and technicians, cardiac surgery technicians, biomedical technicians, and caregivers, he said.

Professionals like chemists, panel operators, electrical foremen, crusher attendants, production and mechanical foremen, and laboratory and instrument technicians are also needed.

De la Cruz also said applicants must come in decent attire and must not wear slippers and shorts. *LTG
