top open trio bowling competition

Mulo Car Aircon Team beat NPBC RJ Stars/TT/LJP in the men's division, and Condura ASSFBI Ladies defeated Panasonic/ON-BACIBA in the women's title in the Panaad Sa Negros Open Invitational Trio Bowling Championship.

The contest was held at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Abe Leong of NPBC/RJ Stars and Juliet Regollo of Condura Ladies topped their bracket.

The team of Romulo Ramos, Allan Baer and Boy Tisoy Villanueva of MCA won over NPBC's group of Steve Po composed of Willy Mahilum, Abe Leong, Matt Gaudite, Hernand Garciniego and Jaime Chua with 369-357.

Felipe Boy Romero, Joe Latoza, Steve Ramos and Edgar Jerez of Davies was second runner-up after losing to NPBC of Steve Po in the semi-final, 349-339.

Condura Ladies defeated Tiger Eye led by Cecil Biendo in the semi-final, beat Panasonic in two games.

The members of the winning squad were Sylvia Del Rosario, Juliet Regollo and Lea Javier, while Cora Romero, Nena King, Sharon Gayanelo and Lars del Castillo played for Panasonic.

Davies Fusion headed by Vilma Robles was third runner-up.

Second runners-up in the men and women's department were Jaime Chua of NPBC Tough Trucks and Precy Pillo of Davies Fusion.

Fifteen teams from Negros and Iloilo City participated.

Meanwhile, the Team Pirates '85 Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament will resume tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex at 6 p.m. in Bacolod City.*
