No need to abolish BOC: Enrile

Bureau of Customs Commissioner Rozzanbo Rufino Biazon is a man of integrity and BOC does not need to be abolished but must be given support instead.

This was claimed yesterday by Rep. Juan Ponce Enrile Jr. (Cagayan, 1 st District) who held his campaign sorties in 11 local government units in Negros Occidental that started in Bacolod City, and also said there is a need to strengthen the BOC and give support to Biazon instead.

Eradicating the BOC is not a right move for the government, he said. The government needs to give a target to Biazon as he is a man of integrity, and very capable and honest as well, he added.

Meanwhile, Enrile said the United Nationalist Alliance will remain as a group even after the election is over.

I promise that until the end of the election trail, UNA will still be a group, he said.

Enrile visited the cities of Bacolod, Kabankalan, Bago, Himamaylan, Silay, and Talisay and the towns of Pontevedra, San Enrique, Valladolid, Hinigaran, and Binalbagan. *LTG
