BUS G 40 Up tilt
kicks off April 21

Six teams have confirmed participation in the 2nd Conference of the Basketball Unified Sports Group invitational tournament that opens Sunday at the Po Hang gym of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, a press release from BUS Group said.

Sharp-BUSG and Diding's Eatery (ABC) clash at 11 a.m., while PESO BAYS Athletic Club and Panasonic-BUSG follow at 1 p.m. At 2:30 p.m. NHOJs and NBG (Negros Basketball Group) serve as the finale of the tripleheader.

NHOJ and Junjun Chua's fellow USLS varsitarians will renew their camaraderie with former PBA veteran Wilmer Ong, ex-Negros Slasher Maui Huelar, Richard Superal and Felipe Luciano. Point guards are Daniel Chiu and Junjun Tolosa with Christian Escote, Gerry Gonzales, Michael Lim, Chad Feria, Lodel Magbanua, John Chua, John Sales, Rey Guacena, Raffy Galanza and Eugene Tsai, the press release said.

PESO BAYS will be led by Sarian Ordas, James delos Reyes, Adrian Melocoton, Rolando Herdon, Joemari Mahilum and center Bernard Bantong. The rest are Jil Juesna, Erlan Celedonio, Rustom Depalubos, Richard Occida, Raymar Pandanduyan, Insik Smalley, Sunday Verba, Art Deocadez, Joel Cayo, Reynaldo Gadeja and playing coach Reynaldo Salido.

BUSG adviser Bing Soyao hosted the organizer's first and last meeting with referee Benny Lachica, Sharp coach Nene Sibaya and team captain Rene Antones, Panasonic coach Ireneo Morales and skipper Edgar Basco, and BUSG treasurer Boboy Antones, the press release also said.*
