Top Prime’s boxer Nardo
ready for Australian battle

After guiding Merlito Sabillo and Arthur Villanueva towards a successful boxing career, Top Prime Stable is now ready to introduce Jerry “Dangerous” Nardo to the international arena via an August 8 world title fight at the RSL Club in Southport, Queensland. Australia.

The 21-year-old Nardo of Escalante City will be facing Australian Corey McConnell for the vacant World Boxing Union super featherweight belt, the main event for “Young Stars” boxing spectacle promoted by Jamie Myer Productions and matchmaker Matt Clark.

pace NSL bowlfest

Retro Bowlers and LJP Trading/NPBC were first and second in the NSL organized Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The leading team of Iran Pielago now has 1,982 pinfalls, 52 pins over second placer LJP Trading headed by Gil Villagante with 1,930.

The Flores Team of Roger Flores, is third with 1,928 followed by Cecil Silverio’s ASSFBI with 1,914.

Silay tankers win
in SJI swim fest

Silay City swimmers, led by Joshua Junsay, captured 21 gold medals in the St. John’s Institute 7th Monsignor’s Cup Swim Fest held July 20 at the Panaad Swimming Pool, Bacolod City, a press release from Silay City said.

Junsay topped the 200m Freestyle, 100m and 50m freestyle events as well as the 100m and 50m backstroke, and the 100m and 50m butterfly events. He also won a bronze medal in the 200m individual medley and was considered as the most be-medalled swimmer in the third and fourth year high school category.
