Bing’s new office blessed
Fr. Abe Latoza, OAR blessed every nook and cranny of the congressional office of the new Bacolod Rep. Evelio Leonardia at the 3rd floor of the St. Francis Building at Araneta Street, Bacolod City, that is owned by sugar leader Enrique “Nene” Rojas.
The interior of the congressional office was simple but elegantly done by Marissa Corral. The ceremonial cutting of the ribbon was led by Regional Director Edilberto Tayao of the Department of Public Works and Highways, Bacolod Vice Mayor Greg Gasataya, Councilor Bobby Rojas, Elsa and EJ Leonardia.
The office staff, in green T-shirts, attended to the needs of the guests who included barangay officials, Sangguniang Panlungsod councilors, business and community leaders, who crowded the area to be with Congressman Bing, his family and loved ones during the special occasion.
Somebody noted that it was also on August 3 in 2010 when Bing’s “Baby”, the Bacolod Government Center, was blessed and inaugurated. It was a very inspiring affair with an atmosphere of friendship and love all around.*
Remember: Count your blessings instead of crosses. Count your joy instead of woes, count your friends instead of foes, count your health instead of wealth, count on God instead of yourself.
