MCAS takes lead in
bowling tourney

Mulo Car Aircon Services led in the premiere class, with Davies I and Condura ASSFBI Ladies also doing it in their categories of the Sharp Open Trio and Non-rated Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

With two more playing days to go, MCAS Team led by Romulo “D’Gunner” Ramos, now has 3,724 points to lead the 7 teams in Class A category, while Davies I of Romel Jover and Edgar Jerez and Condura Ladies headed by Juliet Regollo posted 3,793 and 3,686, respectively.

With MCAS are ESD Electronz I, 3,671; Silverado ASSFBI, 3,634; Sharp I,3,599; NPBC RJ Stars/LJP, 3,574; Davies II, 2,667, and ESD Electronz II, 2,469.

Davies II and ESD II have not yet completed their three-game assignments.

The other competitors in the non-rated side are Canvil Knights, 3,591; FRM Mktg./Sharp, 3,554; RJ Stars/NPBC, 3,481; Joe’s Team, 3,427; Candles/Alimon Steel, 2,884; Davies III, 2,651; Sharp II, 2,691; Haier/Sanyo, 2,638; Metro Sales, 2,632; Manila Bulletin, 2,579, and D’Shadow, 2,438.

Completing the list in the women’s department are Tiger Eye, 3,653; St. Joseph – La Salle,3,614; RJ Stars/NPBC, 3,574; Racahe, 3,518; Panasonic, 3,504; Davies Fusion, 3,499, and Kami Mga Gwapa,3,374.

In the individual contest, Rommel Agupitan holds the men’s highest single and triple record with 180 and 412, and Cora Romero in the ladies single with 133.

The highest pinning record holders in separate category are Elmer Libo-on and Lars Del Castillo with 94 and 91 respectively.

The last day of elimination is Friday.

.Meanwhile, Kami Mga Hubin will host “Doubles Competition” to start tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The event is open to all bowling enthusiasts in Negros Occidental.

Registration is P1,000 excluding alley fees.

The champion will get P6,000, and P4,000 and P2,000 will go to the first and second runners-up.

The highest single record holder in the men and women’s division will receive P1,000 each.

Non-rated and senior players will have a plus-six handicap per game, while lady participants will get an additional of eight points.

For rated one, class B has two points advantage, and none for class A

bowler. However, the points a non-rated player will receive will be added to the total score of the team, not to their individual output per game.

Male and female team combination is allowed.*HLG
