A night to remember

Fifty long-stemmed roses from the Santillana men, family and closest friends were given one by one as a surprise to their beloved Tina Santillana, who was teary-eyed, as she celebrated her birthday recently at L’Fisher Hotel. It was a well-deserved grand party for Tina as more than a hundred well-wishers composed of friends, relatives and loved ones from Bacolod, Iloilo, Manila and Cebu came to be part of her special day.

The memorable affair begun with a prayer by Pastor Ritchi Dondaday, followed by the entrance of the golden-girl and birthday celebrator, Tina, to the tune of “Gold” sung by Biboy and Topper Santillana. Tina welcomed everyone by singing “A very special love”, before blowing out her cake candles with her family.

A special wish was given by Jumarc Santillana, while OJ Santillana, Nichole Santillana and Andres Biantan rendered a song number. Her batchmates from LCC-Bacolod gave a touching prayer read by Socorro Villanueva which was followed by a dance number by the SV More Angels. During dinner Crystal and Biboy Santillana sung “All I ask of you”, from the Phantom of the Opera.

Audio Visual Presentation of the celebrant’s five decades of live was elaborately done by Jumarc Santillana, where a specific song number represented each decade. Guests went home bringing with them happy memories and items given by the celebrant, all brought from abroad. It was an evening filled with songs and dancing, a night to remember.*
