PNP: Rally peaceful

The rally staged yesterday in front of the provincial Capitol in Bacolod City, for the abolition of the Priority Development Assistance Fund ended peacefully, acting city police director, Senior Supt. Edgardo Ordaniel, said.

Ordaniel said the groups that participated in the rally kept their promise only to air their sentiments against the PDAF, and not to create trouble.

Ordaniel said the participants also helped in maintaining peace and order. “They watched their own ranks and I'm thankful for that”, he said.

Policemen were also deployed for intensified security in front of the Capitol Lagoon during the rally, Ordaniel added.*SGG
