Fundraising course
slated September

A basic course on fundraising will be held by the Tapulanga Foundation on September 5-6 at the Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod City, its executive director, Mic Mic Golez, said in a press release.

The course is ideal for non-government organizations, schools, associations and churches, Golez said .

With NGOs no longer able to get government money, they really need to learn to raise their own funds, she said.

“We don't want to make the NGOs feel helpless, but we want them to realize that there is something they can do, and it will help them if they know how to raise funds on their own,” she added.

For more information and reservations, those interested may contact Myla Mestiola at (034) 435-2942 or 0917-7224886, the press release added.*
