Lopez favored to bag
master bowler crown

After topping the elimination round with 112.20 points per game, Reymund Lopez of Retro Team is the top favorite to win first place in the master’s competition of the NSL organized Non-rated Trio Bowling Spectacle scheduled tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Challenging Lopez are Ric Abellar (Bago City Bowlers), Joval Damasco (Kami Mga Hubin), Ricky Zamora (Davies), Essho Garcia (Davies), Hernand Garciniego (LJP Trading/NPBC RJ Stars), Cero Cordova (Retro), Cesar Sumaylo (ASSFBI Silverado), Romulo Ramos (Mulo Car Aircon/ASSFBI), Iran Pielago (Retro), and Joe Ermeo (Bago City).

The 10 outstanding bowlers will play one game each and the top three will play in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion. Games will start at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, a non-rated single competition will also be held on the same day, while a five-game tournament, “Mix Double Competition”, will open on September 5.*
