Bonus decision seen Monday
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan yesterday said the amount to be set for the bonuses of Capitol employees is expected to be determined by Monday.

The Capitol employees each received a P35,000 bonus in December last year and a Performance Enhancement Incentive of P20,000 early this year.

Pinongan said they will compute over the weekend how much savings the Capitol has on salaries from vacant positions, that will be used for the bonuses.

He said they hope to be able to give not lower than P35,000.

Meanwhile, they expect to have P108,000 in savings from the cancelled Capitol Christmas party that will be used to further assist typhoon victims in northern Negros Occidental, he said.*CPG
