register victory No. 3

The Football development program in Bago City gets a boost as young booters from Bago Elementary School continued their winning ways in the Negros First Under 13 Football Tournament at the Panaad Park and Sports Stadium.

Posting their third win Sunday, Bago ES blanked Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, 7-nil, with Jovencio Acojedo and Bryan Sinconiegue scoring two goals each, while Hanz Jefferson Aguilar, Welvin Alejandro, and Russel Bianco had one goal each.

Acojedo opened the scoring for Bago in the 8th minute and Bianco and Aguilar made it 3-0 two a minutes later as ABES failed to counter.

USLS posts 2nd win in
13th TKP cagefest

University of St. La Salle President’s Gym streaked to its second win by routing Allure DM/Bobcat, 94-74, while Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod / Choi Sportswear bounced back with a win against Willtrade Sagay Central, 92-84, in Class A action of the 13th Tan Kek Pin Memorial Basketball played Sunday at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

Also posting a win in the tournament was University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos/Davies, who beat New Negros Coliseum, 89-74.

Starting slow in the first quarter, UNO-R fell behind, 13-20, but easily made up for their lackluster performance with a 10-point advantage at the break, 37-27 as NNC’s offense sputtered.

Kami Mga Hubin Bowling Club led the premiere division, like FRM Marketing and St. Joseph Adventurer in the non-rated and women’s category of the Top’s Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The KMH squad of Robbie Elegado has a three-round output of 2,104 followed by NPBC Tamaraws 5ec/RJ Stars with 2,030.
