provincial blood bank

Health Assistant Secretary Paulyn Jean Ubial yesterday lauded the Negros Occidental provincial government for its foresight and proactive response to the need to ensure the storage of adequate blood supply to save the lives of Negrenses.

Ubial was among the speakers at the inauguration and blessing of the Negros First Provincial Blood Bank Center located in Barangay 39, Bacolod City, led by Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr.

The P18.9 million building is one of only two provincial government-owned blood bank centers in the country, the other being in Davao del Norte, Ubial said. moremoremore
